Guided Forest Immersion
Did you Know?
You can naturally boost your immune system by spending time in nature,
or what I call Forest Immersion.
You don’t need a deep, dark forest
—just a connection with nature will do.
We are from the forest, and the forest is within us.
We’ve lost touch with the truth
that we are interconnected with everything in nature.
This interconnectedness is like The Butterfly Effect—where the flap of a butterfly’s wings can cause a chain of events elsewhere.
Everything is connected, including you.
Forest Immersion: The Science Behind It
Developed in Japan in the early 80s, Forest Bathing (or Forest Immersion) was studied for its substantial physiological effects.
In many studies, participants would start with blood pressure and cortisol tests before a guided two-hour session in nature.
At the end of the session, these levels were retested—and in almost every case, both blood pressure and cortisol were significantly lower.
How is Forest Immersion Different From a Hike?
The main difference lies in the focus.
On a hike, you’re typically heading from one point to another, often with a set time or destination in mind.
Forest Immersion, on the other hand, is about being present in the forest.
During this experience, you often return with deeper insights into how you are connected to the forest around you.
